Compatibility and Suitability
This doorbell cover is compatible with a range of video doorbells, including the Video Doorbell, Video Doorbell 2, 3, 3 Plus, and 4, as well as the 2020 Video Doorbell release. Please refer to the left picture (No. 2) to confirm the compatibility with your specific model.
Please note that the doorbell itself is not included with the purchase.
Two Installation Options
The cover comes equipped with a strong-grade VHB (Very High Bond) tape on the back, allowing for an easy and secure installation. Simply peel off the tape and adhere the cover directly to your door. However, it is important to allow at least 24 hours for the adhesive to fully set before using the device.
Alternatively, you can install the cover on the wall using the included screws, making it suitable for a variety of surfaces, such as brick, shingles, and rough walls.
Ideal for Smooth Door Surfaces
The mounting solution is designed to be most effective and safest when applied to a flat, smooth door surface, such as laminates, tiles, glass, or marble. For these types of surfaces, the VHB tape provides a secure and reliable attachment.
If you need to install the cover on rougher surfaces, such as brick or shingles, it is recommended to use the included screws for a more secure and stable installation.
